我们去过The Summer Palace颐和园，这次呱呱带大家去皇帝的The Winter Palace——北海公园去看看。
Beihai Park is located in the heart of Beijing, just beside the Palace Museum. It is the oldest ancient imperial garden in China. 最先开始建造北海公园的是辽代的皇帝。之后金、元、明、清5个朝代的皇帝们也都出了力，才建成了我们今天看到的样子。Such a long story!
北海公园的布局非常有趣。它是按照传说中的“一池三仙山”（太液池、蓬莱、方丈、瀛洲）来布局建造的，这有什么说法呢？原来，传说海外有三座仙山蓬莱、方丈、瀛洲。Some gods and fairies live in these mountains. 皇帝们都想长生不死，于是就在自己家门口仿造了一个“神仙福地”。
There are many scenic spots in Beihai Park. 著名的景点有琼华岛、白塔、九龙壁。
琼华岛
琼华岛is the center of Beihai Park. 它是用挖湖的泥土堆积而成的。There are many trees on this island. Many pavilions are there, too. On the center of the island is a high, white tower. 这就是著名的北海白塔。
九龙壁
In Chinese tradition, the dragon is a lucky animal. Of course, the Chinese dragon looks very different from the western one. 在北海公园里有一道精美的九龙壁。 There are nine dragons on either side of the wall. 它们在惊涛骇浪中戏珠玩耍，就好像是真的一样。
除了呱呱介绍的这三个景点，北海公园还有好多美丽的精致，像永安寺、阅古楼、画舫斋、五龙亭什么的。如果你有机会来玩的话，你一定会越看越喜欢的!
