With the rapid development of the Internet technology, the past dream of shopping without going one’s home has become true. Nowadays, many people begin to earn money by opening shops on line. Therefore, online shopping is not only available, but has already developed into a fashion. More and more people get o do shopping through the Internet, especially the young people.
But why there are so many people want to buy things through the Internet? I think, the following three aspects can account for the current practice. Firstly, it’s very convenient. What you need to do is just to click the mouse. Secondly, it can save us a lot of time and energy. We don’t have to leave our home and get into the crowded bus and noisy department store. Thirdly, commodities purchased online are relatively cheaper compared with those bought in the sores in person. But online shopping also has its disadvantages. We often heard of such stories as being cheated through online shopping. We decide to buy things just according to the online sellers’ descriptions and images of the products, sometimes there is a catch underlying the beautiful photos.
In my opinion, online shopping is preferable. It brings us great convenience. I believe it will become a trend which more and more old people will also accept. Because there do exist some tricks in the practice of online shopping, we should be cautious enough. But what’s most important is that the government should pass related laws to regulate the activities of the online shoppers. At that time, we will be able to enjoy the convenience online shopping brings us without being worried about tricks and traps.
